Sanskrit: Parsvottanasana

English: Pyramid

Benefits: Deep hamstring stretch, calms brain, improves circulation, massages abdominal organs

Variations: Bring arms behind back and put hands in a prayer mudra or interlock elbows to increase the shoulder stretch.

How to: Stand in mountain pose with your hands on hips and step your left foot behind you.  Keep both feet flat on floor and legs straight as you bend at hips and fold forward.
