Pose of the Week - Side Plank

Sanskrit:  Vasisthasana

English: Side Plank

Benefits:  Improves balance and concentration

Variations:  Drop bottom knee to the ground to make the pose easier.  Lift top leg towards the sky to make the pose more difficult.  

How to:   From PLANK pose, place right hand under face and rotate body towards the right.  Keep your chest open as you lift your left hand towards the sky and stack your left leg on top of your right.
